Sunday Snapshot

Haven't done one of these in a while so here it goes.
It is gorgeous outside today! I refilled the bird feeders and weeded. I was pleased to see some flowers opening up in my front yard.
The gorgeous painting my brother did for me this Christmas. I find it so soothing, I just LOVE the colors.
Some pieces that I'm working on with my cello. The Prelude is really challenging.
The sticky buns Jon was making this afternoon. Can't wait to taste them when they come out of the oven.
My amaryllis is finally blooming. It took almost 4 months but it is really pretty.

My goodie bag from the organic festival.

The pickles I made yesterday. My first canning experience!

Yummy organic drinks from the market.

The cool new sage plants I got at the festival. One tastes and smells like honey melon.

My massive stack of piano music (and this is only HALF). I'm a bit of a music junkie.

I had a bad cold this weekend so me and the Kleenex box were inseparable.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast.

We decided to lay on the beach and be stuffed up rather than stay home.

See Sarah to play.

Snapshot Sunday

Our salt rock lamp on top of a beautiful, hand painted dresser created by my aunt.

I used the remnants of last nights organic chicken to make my own chicken stock. It smells so good. I'm going to freeze most of it and use the rest to make soup for tomorrow.

My washboard is so handy. I don't know why people don't use these anymore. They are great for getting those handwash only clothes nice and clean. And beside it is the bug zapper from my grandma.

Our CD collection that sits above our desks. We've been adding to it lately.

Getting ready for the beach!

To play, go here.
